Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer buying from us online, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 give you the right to cancel your order without giving a reason. This page explains how it works.

Your 14-day right to cancel

You may cancel your contract within 14 days, starting from the day after you (or someone you nominate, other than the courier) receive the goods. If your order arrives in several deliveries, the 14 days run from the day after you receive the last item.

You can also cancel at any time between placing your order and receiving it.

Exceptions: food that has been opened

Our products are food. Under regulation 28 of the 2013 Regulations, the right to cancel does not apply to:

• sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once the seal or packaging has been opened after delivery; and
• goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.

In practice this means we can accept a change-of-mind return only for items that are unopened, still sealed and in their original condition. A multipack box (for example a box of 6 granola packs) can be returned in part, as long as the individual packs you send back are unopened.

How to cancel

Tell us clearly that you want to cancel, by email to office@ancestralsuperfoods.co.uk or by post to Ancestral Superfoods OOD, Plachkovitsa 2 Str., fl. 2, apt. 5, 1407 Sofia, Bulgaria. Please include your name, order number and the items you are cancelling. You may use the model form below, but you do not have to.

To meet the deadline, you only need to send your message before the 14-day period ends.

Returning the goods

Please send the goods back without undue delay and no later than 14 days after telling us you are cancelling, to:

You pay the direct cost of returning the goods. We recommend a tracked service and keeping your proof of postage.

Your refund

• We will refund all payments we received for the cancelled items, including the standard delivery charge if you cancel the whole order.
• If you chose a more expensive delivery option than our standard one, we refund only the cost of standard delivery.
• We refund within 14 days of receiving the goods back, or of you giving us proof that you have sent them, whichever is earlier. If we have not yet dispatched your order, we refund within 14 days of you telling us.
• We use the same payment method you used for the order, and we will not charge you a fee for the refund.
• We may reduce the refund to reflect any loss in value caused by handling the goods more than was needed to check them.
